HDFC Bank Reports 14% Growth in Deposits, 5.4% Rise in Advances in Q4 FY25
India’s largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank, posted strong deposit growth for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4FY25). The bank’s period-end deposits surged by 14.1% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) and 5.9% sequentially, reaching ₹27.15 trillion.
Gross advances for the same period rose by 5.4% Y-o-Y and 4% quarter-on-quarter, totaling ₹26.44 trillion.
In terms of securitization, the bank reported a total of ₹57,000 crore in loans securitized during FY25. Of this, ₹10,700 crore was securitized in the fourth quarter alone.
Its average deposits were up almost 16% Y-o-Y and 3.1 per cent to 25.28 trillion.
