The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that it will soon release ₹10 and ₹500 denomination banknotes under the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series, featuring the signature of the newly appointed Governor, Sanjay Malhotra. The design of these banknotes will remain unchanged from the existing ones currently in circulation.
